  • Description:

Gilles Legrand's YOU WILL BE MY SON, is a taut psychological intergenerational drama about the troubled relationship between Paul de Marseul, the owner of a prestigious Bordeaux vineyard, played by great French actor Niels Arestrup (A Prophet, War Horse,) and his son. YOU WILL BE MY SON was shot on location in the region of Saint Emilion at the Chateau Clos Fourtet.

Things deteriorate as the health of Paul’s trusted estate manager (Patrick Chesnais) takes a turn for the worse after his own brilliant son, Philip (Nicolas Bridet), a winemaker as well, returns from California. Not before long, Paul starts seeing Philip as his ideal son and turns away from his own flesh and blood.
