Science, Language & Arts International School, a French immersion school with Mandarin Chinese enrichment, is an independent pre-K through 5th elementary school located in the heart of the BAM Cultural District near all Atlantic Center trains.


A project-based interdisciplinary approach supports a curriculum rich in the sciences, math, and the arts. Children are immersed not only in French and Mandarin but a school culture designed to develop thoughtful, collaborative learners.

SLA has the following seats available:

pre-K: 2 seats    (no prior exposure to French required)

Kindergarten: 1 seat    (prior exposure to French preferred)

Grade 1: 2 seats    (prior exposure to French required)

Grade 2: 1 seat    (significant exposure to French required)

Grade 4: 1 seat    (proficiency in French required)

Non-need-based scholarships are available for francophone students in Grade 1 or higher. Need-based financial aid is available for all grade levels.
