Bonjour!
For those who are actually excited about the blustery weather to come, and who want to practice their French, Coucou Brooklyn has the perfect class. Beginning October 26th, Coucou will offer knitting classes taught in French.
Participants will learn how to make their own cozy winter set, including a beanie hat, a snood, and a pair of mittens. The instructor is wild about creating unique and quirky accessories, and will get beginners knitting (and speaking French), even if they’ve never held a pair of knitting needles in their hands before.
Yarn and needles will be provided by Bergère de France for the first session. Located in the heart of the Lorraine region, Bergère de France is a family owned woolen mill that has been a leader in the fine yarn industry for over 65 years.
This class spans 5 sessions, each of which are 2 hours long. Registration information can be found online on the “Specialty Classes” page at www.coucoubrooklyn.com.
