Join Words Without Borders Campus on October 24th for an interactive, professional development workshop that will prepare you to:   

 

  • Access free, new global literature online, and find the literature that's right for your students

  • Facilitate lively class discussions that connect literature to "real life" and relevant global issues 

  • Activate students' creativity and boost their analytical skills with low-preparation, high-engagement projects

  • Connect students to multimedia resources, readings and interviews with prominent contemporary authors [of today] 

  • Utilize WWB Campus at your school or youth organization 

 

WWB Campus (www.wwb-campus.org) is a unique and easy-to-use resource for global literature and culture, recognized for innovation by the National Book Foundation.  Our resources have been demonstrated to: 

  • Boost literacy skills

  • Motivate previously unengaged readers 

  • Build students' global competency 

  • Prepare students for the rigors of college-level work 

 

Special guest (a global author or translator) to be announced. 

 

Food and drinks will be provided. Guests will receive newly published books from around the world.
