An international model for museum and community programs, Brooklyn Children’s Museum offers interactive learning adventures through hands-on exhibitions, multicultural performances, creative workshops, and an extensive collection of cultural artifacts and natural science specimens. Situated in central Brooklyn for more than 100 years, the Museum was founded in 1899 as the first children’s museum in the world. The Brooklyn Children's Museum is also the first "Green" Museum in New York City.
