The Normandy for Peace Initiative is the result of the Region's desire to continue the work that began in 1945 to promote remembrance in Normandy and to become a laboratory for lasting peace. During the World Forum and through the year, initiatives, certified projects and events promote the value of peace and freedom which are so important in Normandy.
