With Mahnaz Mohamadi, Hossein Farzi-Zadeh, Javad Taheri

Following the death of an elderly mullah, an Iranian family sets off on a journey to attend the funeral, in a city where a little-known custom of temporary marriage is practiced. A relationship develops between the young and passionate Kazem, who is already engaged to another, and his sister-in-law, the widow Mariam. The couple’s secret love becomes increasingly perilous in this restrictive society.
