Distinguished French tenor Jean-Paul Fouchécourt will give a master class in the baroque repertoire for young professional vocalists. The class will be free and open to the public. Mr. Fouchécourt has performed on the world's leading stages with conductors including William Christie, Marc Minkowski, and James Levine, and has over one hundred recordings to his credit. He has taught at the Paris Conservatory, and was recently appointed Artistic Director of the Studio at the Opéra de Lyon. He will appear in a concert with soprano Gaële LeRoi and an ensemble from Opera Lafayette at Carnegie Hall on October 30th.
