7 artistes français contemporains sont presentes par les galeries AZART, ARTEMISIA et LIFE qui ont organisé deux expositions de groupe Pop up - Pop Art et Dialogue au cœur du quartier des galeries de Chelsea à New York.

Les trois galeries basées à NYC représentent des artistes contemporains internationaux émergents ou reconnus. Leur point commun est leur intérêt pour des œuvres innovantes et uniques d’artistes influencés par l’art abstrait, figuratif, l’illustration, la pop culture et le Street art. 

Cohen Media Group is proud to announce the release of the enchanting documentary/road movie FACES PLACES (VISAGES VILLAGES,) co-directed by 89-year old Agnes Varda, one of the leading figures of the French New Wave, and acclaimed 33 year-old French photographer and muralist JR. A sensation at this year's Cannes Film Festival, and a selection of the Telluride, Toronto and New York Film Festivals, it is scheduled to open in New York on Friday, October 6 at Lincoln Plaza and the Quad Cinemas, followed by a national roll out.

Kindred spirits, Varda and JR share a lifelong passion for images and how they are created, displayed and shared.  Together they travel around the villages of France in JR’s photo truck meeting locals, learning their stories and producing epic-size portraits of them.  Their photos are prominently displayed on houses, barns, storefronts and trains revealing the humanity in their subjects, and themselves. This conference brings together scholars of French literature, music, and history, alongside sound artists from France and the Francophone world, to explore the place of sound in sensation/making sense. Talks and roundtables are organized around a series of performances which include a concert featuring compositions of Michaël Levinas, a performance at the Park Avenue Armory of Boulez’s Répons by IRCAM’s Ensemble Intercontemporain, and the innovative production by Roland Auzet of Bertrand-Marie Koltes’s play In the Solitude of the Cotton Fields. Levinas; the director of l’IRCAM, Frank Madlener; and Auzet will participate in discussions around their work.
