    “My French Film Festival” offers ten feature films and ten shorts -- a mix of comedies, dramas and documentaries -- screening in their original version, subtitled in English. 

    In the United States and Canada, in addition to its own platform, “My French Film Festival” will be available on Eurocinema, an on-demand television channel available in 30 million homes through major cable operators such as Comcast, Cablevision, Charter, Verizon and DirecTV.  On the web, the festival will also be available on Vudu, one of the leading video-streaming services in the US.  Of note, iTunes, for the first time in its history, has signed on as a worldwide partner.

    I would like to let you know about an exciting exhibition coming to Agora Gallery, NYC, featuring the original work of four innovative and talented French artists, Christiane Monchalin, Krzis-Lorent FrédériqueK, Jade Rougerie and Silvana Di Martino. The exhibition is scheduled to run from February 7, 2013 through February 27, 2013.

    February is also Heart Month and to celebrate we’re doing something a little special. Some of the artists in this exhibition have created artwork especially for the occasion. The entire sales proceeds from the sales of these particular pieces of art will be donated to the Children’s Heart Foundation.

    Please join us for the opening reception on Thursday night, February 7, 2013 from 6-8 pm.

    Avec la présence de Michel Brault par Skype

     

    Michel Brault, chef de file du cinéma québécois depuis les années 50, auteur des Raquetteurs, de La Lutte ou encore de Pour la suite du monde, pionnier du cinéma direct, parle avec Rina Sherman de sa vie de cinéaste, de directeur de la photographie et de photographe et aussi de sa contribution technique majeure, qui a libéré le cinéma des contraintes techniques pour mieux révéler la vie et bien entendu de son travail sur la caméra KMT Coutant-Mathot Eclair avec Jean Rouch et à  la caméra pour Chronique d'un été de Jean Rouch et d'Edgar Morin.
