  • Description: Judith Revel is a professor of philosophy at the University of Paris I Sorbonne. She is a specialist of Michel Foucault and of political philosophy from 1945 to 1980. Revel has written several books on Foucault, including Foucault: Experiences de la pensée (2005) and Dictionnaire Foucault (2007) and recently reflected on her experience as a philosophy professor in a high school on the outskirts of Paris in Qui a peur de la banlieue?
