Haiti Cultural Exchange is collaborating with the Akashic Books at the Brooklyn Public Library to present Haiti Noir, the new collection of short fiction edited by Haitian-born author Edwidge Danticat. The anthology reveals the complexities of Haitian life through the various lenses of authors such as Kettly Mars, Katia D. Ulysse, and Patrick Sylvain, among others. Each story allows readers to experience Haiti through their profound and vibrant words.

Featured storytellers from the compilation, Edwidge Danticat, Ibi Zoboi, and Marie Lily Cerat, will share selected readings from the anthology.
