NEW YORK, NY – Chelsea’s Agora Gallery will feature the original work of Contemporary digital artist from Nice Edmonde Bizelli in Forms and Formalities.

Edmonde Bizelli makes digital art that combines the sharpness and clarity of computer imagery with a softness and range of textures more commonly seen in traditional painting. Having worked as a graphic designer, Bizelli has developed an instinctive feel for the flexibility of digital technology and employs it to striking effect. “I don’t know any artist yet that works with my techniques,” she notes, and that sense of adventurousness is fully communicated in her work. Creating her images mainly on an iPad, she transfers them onto such materials as plexiglass and canvas, giving each work a strong physical presence.
