SUN, FEBRUARY 17: CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH!

PROGRAM: Works by Chevalier De Saint-George; “Lensky Aria” from the Opera Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky & “Oh, Cease Thy Singing Maiden Fair” by Rachmaninov; Songs by Harry T. Burleigh & African-American Spirituals.

Tenor, Everett Suttle is joined by pianist, Jonathan DePeri and violinist, Brenden Zak, to celebrate "Black History Month" with a wonderful performance of music by Afro-French composer Joseph Bologne—Chevalier de Saint-Georges; African-American singer, composer and arranger Harry Burleigh; and settings of poetry by Afro-Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
