La Maison Française of NYU is proud to present Calligrammes, a new song cycle by Albert Behar for soprano and accordion, based on the visual poetry of Guillaume Apollinaire. Behar's compositions bring Apollinaire's poetic spontaneity into the musical realm, interpreting the zigzagging stanzas as a visual musical score.
The concert will feature Albert Behar and Ariadne Greif (soprano).
