  Bonjour Todd!
  
  Je m’appelle Anne-Lise, et je suis une jeune française nouvellement arrivée dans la Grosse Pomme :-)
  J’ai découvert ici La Comédie Française de New York, une association qui propose des ateliers de théâtre francophone à destination de toutes nationalités. Ces ateliers sont vraiment extras pour s’évader un peu du travail et de la routine quotidienne. Mettez une danseuse indienne professionnelle, une infirmière haïtienne, un pro de la finance français, un jeune étudiant américain et une chercheuse japonaise ensemble… ça donne des étincelles et de beaux éclats de rire !
  C’est une expérience que j’aimerais partager avec le plus de monde possible. D’autant que les ateliers sont une occasion en or pour apprendre à parler en public sans appréhension, et pour tester tout un tas de restaurants new yorkais sans se ruiner ;-)

  I am french and i'd like to work in august (and for 6 months) in new-york, I'm looking for someone who could help me in my search. I live in the UK and it's hard to find a job there so far, that's why i'm going there in April but do you think it's possible to get a job directly there and to start in August? Because i need an employer to start to apply for my visa. What can you advice me?
  I know there are lots of questions but since months i'm trying to find smtg and without results...
