PS 133, à Park Slope, Brooklyn est à la recherche d'élèves francophones et hispanophones (Maternelle jusqu'au CP) pour ses deux programmes bilingues. Les cours sont enseignés soit à parité horaire entre le français et l'anglais par un enseignant bilingue, ou bien côte-a-côte par deux enseignants.

Les élèves développent la maitrise de deux langues et découvre plusieurs cultures. A l'Automne 2013, nous projetons de créer une classe Maternelle (Pre-K) Bilingue mais pour cela nous recherchons activement des candidats qui maîtrisent le français ou bien l'espagnol.

PS 133 est la seule école publique new-yorkaise à proposer deux programmes d’immersion bilingues (DLP) Français/Anglais et Espagnol/Anglais. Nous sommes impatients de déménager au mois de Septembre prochain, dans nos nouveaux locaux ultra-moderne situés au 610 Baltic Street.

PS 133 in Park Slope, Brooklyn is looking for both French and Spanish native speakers from PreK through Grade 1. Programs are taught in either a self-contained 50/50 model by a bilingual teacher, or in a side-by-side model with two teachers. Students learn to become multi-cultural, bilingual and bi-literate. In the fall of 2013, we would like to offer a PreK DLP option but we need native speakers to make this possible. 

PS 133 is the only school in Brooklyn to offer both a Spanish and French Dual Language Program (DLP) and we are excited to be moving into our brand new, state-of-the-art building located at 610 Baltic Street at the start of the next school year.

Requirements:

• starts September 2011
• willing to commit at least 2 to 3 days a week for at least 3 hours a day (preferably mornings)
• flexible and team-oriented
• bilingual in English/French a plus
• MUST love kids :)
• background check and Learning Leaders training will be provided.
