Hello everyone,

I am in the process of receiving my master's in French, and I am currently living in France for a year. I have recently started my job search and have noticed that a lot schools specifically ask for French native speakers, this is before they even judge your level of competency.  I am starting to feel highly discouraged. 

Any "etrangers" out there teaching French I would really appreciate your "conseils" in this subject.

Was it difficult proving yourself?

How did you eventually find a teaching position?

What would you recommend for those who would like to follow in your footsteps?
