Our family is looking for a French speaking after-school babysitter for our two children (4 year old girl 6 year old boy). Responsibilities will include picking them up at school on the UES and taking them back to Brooklyn on the subway, helping our son with homework, feeding them dinner, and getting them ready for bed. The ideal candidate is responsible, enthusiastic, loving and fun. Requirements are college degree or current student and excellent references (at least 2 that are not family members). We are looking for 2-3 days a week (flexible on the days but Tuesday-Friday) from 2:20 pm - 7:30/8 pm, but the ideal candidate can occasionally stay later should an event or dinner come up that we'd like to attend. We've been very fortunate to find great sitters before that stay with us 2-3 years so a long term relationship would be ideal, but we need at least the commitment of the school year.
