I recently attended a meeting with parents of successful bilingual programs in Brooklyn and Manhattan and am inspired to try to get one up and running in Queens.

This summer I will be working to get the word out, and meet and speak to community members regarding this initiative. As you know, being bilingual has many benefits and in addition to the cognitive and social benefits, it helps children stay in touch with their racines, very important!
