NYFACS is hiring a French/English bilingual teacher to supervise the program afterschool program at our school. The after school teacher will be responsible for developing the activities and content of the program and supervising four aides in the execution of the program for approximately 50 students. The lead teacher will also communicate with the administrative after school coordinator to monitor student enrollment and request teacher substitutes. The lead teacher must be reliable, have excellent references and supervisory classroom experience with young children (ages 3-7). Elementary school certification is preferred and an interest in bilingual education is necessary. The position will be five days a week at a rate of $23/hr. Hours are from 2:00-6:00.
