I had already posted a blog post when RFI had launched its service in English and French on mobile phones in 2009. The service is still on, and working well, and RFI has just launched the broadcasting of news bulletins in six new languages: Farsi, Hausa, Mandarin, Chinese, Spanish, Swahili and Vietnamese. Thanks to this service, anyone can listen to RFI and Monte Carlo Doualiya (Arabic) using any mobile phone at the price of a normal call.(no 3G, 4G or WiFi networks needed).
You'll find below the list of phone numbers you need to call to get access to the service:
832.225.5397 RFI in English (latest news bulletin)832.225.5394 RFI in Farsi (latest news bulletin)832.225.5399 RFI in French (live, 24/7)832.225.5398 RFI in French (latest news bulletin)832.225.5392 RFI in Hausa (latest news bulletin)832.225.5391 RFI in Mandarin Chinese (latest news bulletin)832.225.5395 RFI in Spanish (latest news bulletin)832.225.5393 RFI in Swahili (latest news bulletin)832.225.5396 RFI in Vietnamese (latest news bulletin)832.225.5390 Monte Carlo Doualiya in Arabic (live, 24/7)

The service is very easy to use and allows you to stay tuned to RFI's shows anytime and anywhere.
