The New Literature from Europe festival’s 10th Anniversary celebration will take readers on the road with 9 writers from different European countries whose writing blurs national boundaries.
Authors include Erri de Luca, Italy’s most widely read author and an international best seller, award-winning novelist and non-fiction German author Ilija Trojanow, and Laurent Binet, author of the internationally acclaimed HHhH.

This mobile event with nine taxis, each with one author in the front passenger’s seat, will take spectators on five-minute round trips in groups of three. During these rides, the author will read an excerpt of his/her book in the original language and then briefly chat with the passengers. The entire event will culminate with a cocktail event at a bookstore, where participants and authors will have a chance to socialize.Authors, Witold Szabłowski, György Dragomán, Ilija Trojanow, Laurent Binet, Jáchym Topol, Erri De Luca, and Sabina Gruber will be IN TRANSIT tonight.Download all the informations for this special event HERE
