L’écrivain canadien d’origine haïtienne a reçu ce mercredi le prix Médicis 2009 pour son roman L’Enigme du retour, publié aux éditions Grasset. Le prix du roman étranger a quant à lui été attribué à l’Américain Dave Eggers pour Le grand quoi (Gallimard). Deux récompenses accordées au premier tour. Enfin le Médicis de l'Essai est revenu à Alain Ferry pour Mémoire d'un fou d'Emma (Seuil).
