If you are interested in our French Dual Language Program and want more information check out our website www.ps20.org or contact Jont Enroth at ps20.french.program@gmail.com

If your child is francophone the school encourages you to take a survey on its website so that your child's French can be assessed. Ideally the class would be composed of an equal number of Francophone and Anglophone children but we encourage everyone to apply as the class compisition changes year to year.

PS20 is a PreK-5 school that serves over 380 students. The French Dual Language Program started in 2013. As the program expands, we will add one class a year through 5th Grade. Currently the program has one Kindergarten and one first grade class. The goal for the Dual Language Program is for students to become bi-lingual, bi-literate and bi-cultural in French and English.

Since 2010, all students have taken French as a cluster class. In addition we offer classes in Art, Music, Science & Technology Lab and PS20 Farms (our urban gardening program.)

Students that do well in music are invited to participate in the school band.

Afterschool care is provided by several organizations including Boys and Girls Club, Kaleidoscope, Kalbloom and The Language and Laughter Studio (which offers a French immersion program twice a week.)
