Designed for native French-speaking children, Fix Your French is a new series of classes at the French Institute Alliance Française for 6 to 10 year olds who speak French well but need to improve their reading and writing skills.

Ages 6 and 7 concentrate on reading and writing basics. Through songs, games, structured exercises, and artistic activities, kids will discover the correlation between French letters and sounds, pick up pronunciation tricks, improve their ability to read French, and learn to write beautifully in cursive.

For 8 to 10 year olds, they will learn key French grammar lessons not taught in school. Topics include: the structure of the language and sentence construction; how gender and number agreement works; conjugation of verbs in different tenses; and the different parts of a sentence including noun, verb, and complement. They will read and write and discover that grammar and conjugation is fun through stories, graphic novels, and games!
