I am lucky to teach at one of the most beautiful and supportive independent schools in the New York metropolitan area. My beloved Upper School French colleague was just offered a tenure-track university position and is heading elsewhere – though she is sad to do so. This new opening can include all junior and senior classes (including AP) or all ninth and tenth-grade classes. In either position, the classes would be small, the department amazing, and the course load would not exceed four sections. Personally, I left Columbia University to come here – and I’ve stayed put for 21 years. Please send your cover letter and resume to recruitment@fa.org. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits are wonderful.
