The Executive Directors of the French-American Entrepreneurship Award (FAEA) are happy to announce to the two winners of the seventh annual edition of this business plan competition for French-speaking entrepreneurs.

Afineur, founded by Camille Delebecque (28) and Sophie Deterre (30), won the French-American Entrepreneurship Award for Art de Vivre. Afineur uses designer fermentations to craft tastier, healthier, and more sustainable food. Its flagship product, Cultured Coffee, redefines the coffee experience by unlocking new aromas and flavor landscapes.

StreamRoot, founded by Pierre-Louis Théron (26), Nikolay Rodionov (26) and Axel Delmas (26), won the French-American Entrepreneurship Award for Digital Innovation. The start-up offers a new streaming solution that allows online broadcasters to provide better quality streaming while drastically reducing bandwidth costs.

Each winner received a cash prize of $10,000; six months of coaching support from successful entrepreneur from the Club 600; six months of office space in New York City; one business class round-trip flight ticket New York-Paris; and one-year memberships to the French-American Chamber of Commerce and French Founders.

During the awards ceremony, which was held at the Sofitel New York on April 20, Your Lovebox, founded by Charlotte Ogé (28) and Laurianne Ackermann (26), was selected as the FAEA People’s Choice Award Winner. Your Lovebox celebrates the French art of falling in love through romance box sets sold online and at luxury hotels in Paris and New York. The start-up won a prize package which includes six months of office space in New York City; a one-year membership to French Founders; and one round-trip business class flight ticket New York-Paris.

Les Dirigeants Fondateurs du French-American Entrepreneurship Award (FAEA) ont annoncé les deux vainqueurs de la 7ème édition de ce concours annuel de business plans qui récompense de jeunes entrepreneurs francophones souhaitant lancer leur entreprise aux États-Unis.

Afineur, créée par Camille Delebecque (28 ans) et Sophie Deterre (30 ans) a remporté le French-American Entrepreneurship Award pour la catégorie Art de Vivre. Afineur utilise des fermentations “à la carte” pour améliorer les qualités organoleptiques et nutritionnelles de toute une gamme d’aliments durables. Leur produit phare est un café exceptionnel, l’affinage ayant révélé une gamme de saveurs et d’arômes inédite.

StreamRoot, créée par Pierre-Louis Théron, Nikolay Rodionov, et Axel Delmas, tous âgés de 26 ans, ont gagné le French-American Entrepreneurship Award pour la catégorie Innovation Digitale. StreamRoot est une solution en ligne qui réduit de 70% les coûts de bandes passantes des broadcasters, tout en améliorant la qualité du streaming vidéo.

Les gagnants ont chacun reçu: la somme de 10.000 USD ; un coaching d’une durée de six mois avec un mentor du Club 600; des bureaux équipés à New York pendant six mois; un aller-retour New York-Paris en classe affaire ; ainsi qu’une adhésion d’un an à la Chambre de Commerce Franco-Américaine et à l’association French Founders.

Durant la cérémonie, qui s’est déroulée au Sofitel de New York le 20 avril 2015, Your Lovebox, créée par Charlotte Ogé (28 ans) et Laurianne Ackermann (26 ans) et sectionnée dans la catégorie Art de Vivre, a remporté le People’s Choice Award (Prix du Public). La start-up a reçu pour ce Prix: des bureaux équipés à New York pendant six mois, un aller-retour New York-Paris en classe affaire et une adhésion d’un an à l’association French Founders.
