The successful French dual-language program at PS 133 has a few open seats in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade this year. If you are interested in bilingual education for your child in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, check out our school! The French program is totally free and the facilities are brand new. The school is only steps away from the Barclays Center and close to the Atlantic terminal with all the major subway lines. PS 133 is a choice school so school zones do not apply. For the higher grades, children need to have understanding in French to join our school.

PS 133 a quelques places dans son programme bilingue français-anglais pour les classes de 2nd, 3rd et 4th grade. Si un enseignement totalement bilingue vous intéresse pour vos enfants, PS 133 leur offrira un cadre idéal. Le programme est totalement gratuit. L'école est à deux pas du Barclays Center, au coeur de Downtown Brooklyn. Elle est proche d' Atlantic Terminal, l'une des principales stations de métro de New York. Le bâtiment est flambant neuf et les classes sont équipées d'ordinateurs Mac dernier cri. PS 133 est une grande famille trilingue puisque l'école accueille aussi un programme en espagnol. L'école est une choice school et ne dépend pas des zones scolaires. Elle peut donc accueillir des enfants de tout New York.

Don't miss the New York Premiere of the feature documentary By My Side [A Mes Côtés] on Saturday April 13 at 9:15 pm at the Quad Cinema in Manhattan. This screening will take place in the context of the Havana Film Festival New York. By My Side had its World Premiere in September 2012 at the Festival Biarritz Amérique Latine and is distributed by Cat & Docs in Paris. The film tells the story of 3 young women, who are struggling to survive in the Chureca, the largest dump in Central America. Jean-Cosme Delaloye, the French-Swiss director of By My Side, lives in New York. Come and meet the team of the film on April 13! Click here to watch the trailer.

The program has been a great success this year. We have a terrific teacher and your children will enjoy learning this close-knit community. PS 133 in Brooklyn, New York is looking for exceptional candidates to start its French dual language program in September 2011.  Located in a small, vibrant school, the French dual language program will open with one kindergarten class of 24 students: twelve Francophone and twelve Anglophone or speakers of other languages.
