"Come fall, I begin taking lessons again in French. I'm so excited to get the mother language down. I get so upset when I have to call Quebec and press one for English, Instead of "Deux, pour le Francais'". Finalement, Je l'en ai commence!!"

I rarely join these online conversations though I enjoy reading them (pardon: my written french is deplorable, hence the English), and had one of those even rarer "aha" moments when I read your comment on Christina Houri's blog post....that is EXACTLY why French is of such enduring value.
