"Well, I will say that if my daughter turned 4 yrs 9 mos in Sept 2011, I'd be signing up now. Also, I am moving into the city so she can attend a school with a dual language Fr/Eng program and Williamsburg is first on my list."
Since I can't make the 7th due to jury duty and my daughter will only be 3 in Sept 2011, would it be possible to come another day? We are visiting Mini Maternelle in Brooklyn on the 16th at 9:20am. Would it be possible to visit…"
I teach in the SUNY system and will support via letter or campaign any efforts to save the French, Italian and Russian programs at SUNY Albany. The corporate model used to run higher education has obviously missed the blatant fact that…"
"I am very interested in a bilingual school for my daughter. She is only 2, but I was hoping for some bilingual (Fr/Eng) pre-school environment for 3/4 yrs old. I will relocate to Brooklyn or Manhattan if there is nothing set up in Long Island…"
"I am interested in moving to Williamsburg in 2011 and my daughter will be three in 2011. Is that too young to apply to the bi-lingual Pre-K? She would be in category 2. What area would be the best to live. (ie proximity to school) I've just started…"
"At what stage is the bilingual school in Long Island? I would like to do something to get involved. My daughter is only a year old, but I would like to begin the process. Also, do you know of any bilingual fr/amer pre-schools?
Thanks for this…"
The idea is K - 5th grade, please keep in mind when you call that until she sees the interest and the families actually signing up there will be no program!
Since you can't make it on Monday I would suggest contacting the school directly to go on a tour. They will be offering more tours, please tell them you are interested in the French English dual language program. We will hopefully be organizing something else soon, please stay tuned!
PS 110 offers pre-k so it may be a great way to get into the school, we will also try to work with EFNY and offer a french after-school.
PS 100 info: 124 Monitor Street Brooklyn , NY 11222 Phone: (718) 383-7600
Please join us for a tour of PS 110 on Monday February 7th at 9:30am. Please try your best to attend and show your support for this program!! The principal is excited to meet all of you and a large turnout will be the best indicator that she has enough support to get this started.
PS 110 is located in a beautiful red brick building at 124 Monitor Street (between Nassau and Driggs), across the street from McGorlick Park. Please let me know if you will be able to attend the school tour on Monday. If you absolutely can't make it please let me know if you are still very interested in enrolling your child in our program this fall.
