I'm looking for somebody to sublet my fully furnished room in a beautiful, large, two bedroom apartment in Park Slope starting September 1. I am a doctoral student at NYU and will be in Paris doing dissertation research during most of the 2010-2011 school year. I would like to find somebody interested in subletting for either the Fall semester or the academic year (through May 2011), but the dates are somewhat flexible and open to discussion.
You would share the apartment with my wonderful roommate Alyssa who works a professional (9-5) job in the city.
The apartment is on the corner of 7th St. and 6th Ave, just 3 blocks from the F, G and R trains, 3 blocks from Prospect Park and 2 blocks from the Y, which is a great (and affordable) gym.
The rent will be $1150 per month plus roughly $50 per month in bills that cover wireless, gas, and electric. There is a coin laundry in the basement of the building.
