The French Heritage Language Program is a program of the non-profit foundation FACE, in partnership with the French Embassy in the United States. Since 2005, it has helped over 3,000 children, students and adults from underserved communities of francophone background maintain a good working knowledge of the French language and keep strong bonds with their respective cultures and identities.

The primary objectives of the program are to help these students enrich their knowledge of French, regain confidence through cultural identity building, develop bilingual skills and thus increase their opportunities for success in their new environment, both academically and professionally.

Our program is offered in New York, Florida, Massachusetts and Maine. The demand for French Heritage classes is high across the country and we are looking for new partners to help us set up new programs where is needed.
