  • what about Le Pain Quotidien? There are several in NYC. I go to the one on Madison up level with the Metropolitan Museum whenever I come into the city. Their "boule" of sourdough bread is the closest to Pain Poilâne... I used to be able to get Pain Poilâne at a deli in Norwalk, but they don't fly it in anymore...Pity!
