Respectfully, it might have been rare when it opened 15 or so years ago, but it no longer is. In terms of food ratings for its category (kosher fine dining), it's surpassed by Prime Grill and others.
By the way, I've had to have a couple of business meals at Le Marais and although it's owned by the same person who owns Les Halles, it has no French atmosphere, IMHO.
