Learn the basics of the industry while practicing your craft in English (suitable for ESL speakers of all backgrounds).
Workshop led by award-winning actor/director Nora Armani
Schedule:
One weekend: Friday-Sunday immersion, plus Monday night industry meeting. Ongoing one on one classes also available.
Friday 9.30 am - 5 pm (with lunch break)
Saturday 10 am- 5 pm (with lunch break)
Sunday 10 am - 5 pm (with lunch break)
Monday 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm (seminar with Casting director/agent)
Scene study, Accent, Diction, Monologues and Simulation of audition
situations with a New York stage director and producer. Specially
formatted for French speakers and French mother-tongue students. The
workshop will be conducted in English, but occasional translation is
provided to participants whose knowledge of English is very basic.
The Monday evening meetings will be with established working casting
directors and New York agents (will be announced to participants).
