    Bonjour,

I organized a trip to France with my students last February and we raised about a quarter of the cost. Our biggest fundraiser was a raffle; we asked area businesses to donate an item and we ended up with over 50 prizes (ranging from a remote car starter to turkeys!) We also had a spaghetti dinner, made and sold cream puffs (time consuming and not that profitable but a great bound building experience for the kids), ran a bottle drive for 6 months and had a pie sale around Thanksgiving.
We also solicited money donations from local businesses; we live in a very rural area in Upstate NY (the Adirondacks) and there is a strong sense of community here so we had wonderful support.

    Hope this helps, bonne chance,
