Middle & High School French Teacher- Full Time
Start Date: September 1, 2019
Location: 406 East 67th Street
Job responsibilities include:
· Assume a high level of personal responsibility for the progress of all students, grades 6-12
· Create academically rigorous lesson plans and assessments for general and IB courses
· Teach engaging, rigorous and relevant lessons daily
· Communicate effectively with the administration, students, families, and staff
· Work as a part of a school team
· Take on a proactive part in creating a positive, structured and, results-oriented school culture
Job Requirements:
· French Native speaker
· Trained or willing to receive training to teach IB French
· Relevant training to teach French language and literature
· Relevant teaching experience preferred
· Ph.D. preferred
· Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
· Certification to teach French desirable
· Proficiency in Italian highly desirable
