Bringing international education to your classroom

Students in NYC schools speak 176 different languages, and nearly half speak home languages other than English. For these reasons, and many others, Words Without Borders Campus is excited to be launching a set of pilots in New York City this spring, supported by a grant from the Sumner Foundation.

Words without Borders Campus (http://wwb-campus.org/) offers original world literature in translation and contextual materials entirely free of charge to teachers and students. The content is designed for educational levels from college to high school to middle school, and is appropriate for a variety of classes, from literature to ESL to social studies, or courses in foreign languages and cultures. Please contact Jennifer@wordswithoutborders.org for more information about upcoming pilot opportunities and collaborating with the Words Without Borders Campus.
