Alexandre Najjar, one of the most noted Lebanese novelists of his generation, will speak about his multi-faceted career and read from some of his award-winning works. Born in Lebanon, Najjar now splits his time between Paris and Beirut, and serves as director of Beirut’s French-language monthly L’Orient littéraire.Najjar’s work has earned him recognition including the Lauréat de la Bourse Ecrivain of the Fondation Jean-Luc Lagardère, the Prix Méditerranée, and the Grand prix de la francophonie Hervé Deluen awarded by l’Académie Française.In EnglishFree and open to the public.
