Workshop at Yale about famous French women writers

Hi all,French author Jacqueline Aupetit will be at Yale from June 24 - July 1 to give a workshop called "French with Pleasure…”: A workshop for anybody interested in famous French women writers who have been important in the development of French literature. More info here The event is part of the International Women’s Writing Guild’s 34th Annual Summer Conference. The conference, which offers 40 workshops each day (no portfolio necessary), is open to all women.Of the 40 workshops offered, 10 workshops express IWWG’s original reason for being—the Transformation of Self through Writing—which it has fostered long before publishers accepted memoirs and autobiographies from persons who were not celebrities.The remaining 30 daily writing workshops fall into five major headings: The Art & Craft of Writing, Marketing and Publishing, Non-Linear Knowledge, and The Arts, the Body & Health, plus daily Critique Sessions where the work of the conferees is read out loud and helpfully critiqued.Participants may come for the week, for five-days, for the week-end and commuters on a day-to-day basis are welcome as well.Please key in www.iwwg.org for further particulars and full program.
