An "unconference" celebrating the centennial of Aimé Césaire's birth

This centenary celebration of Martinican poet and statesman Aimé Césaire proposes informal discussions of Césaire’s life and legacy along four different critical paths. Our aim is to think Césaire outside and beyond the usual frames - to generate provocative new ways of imagining possible Césairean futures at the close of a year’s worth of exciting commemorative events.
