The book is getting great buzz, with Marie Claire calling it “très drôle” and Interview writing that Baldwin’s is a “drily hilarious journey of discovery” and that he “brilliantly paints a vibrant new Paris.” Kirkus Reviews gave it a starred review, writing that the book is “a charming, hilarious account of la vie Parisienne as experienced by an observant young American . . .
