Paris in the Springtime Film Series: April in Paris
Doris Day and Ray Bolger star in this 1952 Warner Brothers musical. Day plays Ethel “Dynamite” Jackson, who receives an invitation to represent American theatre at a Paris art expo. The only problem is that the letter was actually meant for Ethel Barrymore. Love and misunderstandings ensue, amidst songs by Vernon Duke.
