FIAF welcomes the American director, choreographer, and dancer Bill T. Jones, whose inspiring creative works have been influenced by his experiences with France.The one-night program will include the U.S. premiere of Solos, a film that captures Jones’s electrifying stage presence from a cinematic point of view. Solos features three works—Tea for Two; Ionization; and Chaconne—and showcases a range of musical influences from classical to popular to experimental. Extracts from his solo Walking the Line, commissioned specially for the Louvre in Paris, will also be shown.In English.
