You’ve studied hard all year and you’re finally GRADUATING with your bachelor, your Masters or your Ph.D!! Perhaps you missed the last MIA party or you’re just in the mood for some good African music? Come celebrate your achievement with us, your most faithful MADE IN AFRICA & THE XILES are getting ready to hit you hard with another party "AFRO STATE OF MIND" on May 18th @ The Vault Ultra Lounge (below Element).

DJ BIRANE & XPECT and special guest DJ HENRI from "radioafricaonline.com" will keep you on your feet with the best Coupé Décallé, Azonto, Zouk, Soca, Salsa, Dancehall, Soukouss....so be ready to dance

Prior to the main event, we will be hosting the LAUNCH PARTY of Yvonne Amofah’s online magazine NEXUS2AFRICA from 10:00pm -11:00pm. There will be hors-d’oeuvres served and an open bar. For all aspiring entrepreneurs, bloggers, consumers of African news or if you are simply curious about Yvonne’s work come celebrate the fruits of her hard work and learn more about her and what motivated her to start her magazine. RSVP is REQUIRED to attend the launch party. 

Yvonne W. Amofah is the founder and CEO of Nexus2Africa. She was raised in London, where she attended London Guildhall University graduated with a BA Joint Honors in Communications and Law. She moved to the US in 2006 where she attended UMUC where she graduated with a Masters in International relations in 2008. She currently works in the software securities industry.

Nexus2Africa’s mission is to promote positive images of Africans on the continent and throughout the African diaspora. Nexus2Africa will endeavor to report current news stories involving Africans in all aspects of life including Development, Business, Technology, Health, Cultural, Entertainment, Economics, Politics, Human rights, Law and order, Infrastructure, Governance and much more.
