  • Nov 6, 2017 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm
  • Location: French Institute Alliance Française
  • Description:

When a beleaguered employee commits suicide in a corporation’s Paris headquarters, hot-shot HR executive Emilie Tesson faces a legal investigation about her secret program to force workers to resign. As her situation at the office becomes increasingly strained, Emilie forms a surprising alliance with the work inspector assigned to investigate the case.

Without a gun or a car chase in sight, Corporate functions both as a gripping psychological thriller and a chilling depiction of contemporary corporate culture. Leading lady Céline Sallette beautifully captures Emilie Tesson’s messy moral awakening, while Lambert Wilson’s turn as her ice-cold supervisor will make you shiver.
