Cohen Media Group is proud to announce the upcoming release of Benoît Jacquot’s provocative update of the classic novel DIARY OF A CHAMBERMAID, starring Léa Seydoux as the titular chambermaid, in her second collaboration with Mr. Jacquot since Farewell, My Queen, and award-winning French actor Vincent Lindon (The Measure of a Man). DIARY OF A CHAMBERMAID is scheduled to open on Friday, June 10 in New York (Lincoln Plaza Cinema) and Los Angeles (Royal).

Léa Seydoux follows in the footsteps of Paulette Goddard and Jeanne Moreau, as Célestine, a resentful young Parisian chambermaid who finds herself exiled to a position in the provinces. Philosophy: Using years of excellence in bilingual education, we have designed a unique program where children will learn French by doing. Research shows that an early start, teachers with native fluency, total immersion and practical experience are essential steps on the path to language proficiency. From experience we know that, if the enjoyment is there, the learning of the language will naturally take place.

 Program: Our program revolves around fun, hands-on activities led by native French instructors that will stimulate the children’s conversation skills but also open them to the French and Francophone cultures. We welcome preschoolers as young as 3 years old, half day or full day, as long as they are potty-trained and ready for this wonderful adventure. In small groups, the children will hear and speak French all day through fun activities that will respect their rhythm. Quiet time is also scheduled. Our program for children in grades 1-5 will stimulate their conversation skills

Strand Releasing is proud to announce the release of SUMMERTIME, acclaimed French writer-director Catherine Corsini’s 1970s set, unabashedly sexy, intimate and realistic love story between young farm girl Delphine (Izïa Higelin) and Carole (Cécile de France,) a feminist organizer from Paris.  Winner of the Variety Piazza Grande Award at the Locarno Film Festival, SUMMERTIME is scheduled to open on Friday, July 22 in New York (Film Society at Lincoln Center, IFC Center) and Los Angeles (Laemmle’s Royal) followed by a national roll-out.

Pourquoi ceci: NICE est ma ville, une belle ville, pleine de gens merveilleux.

L'attentat du 14 Juillet a été un désastre, pas seulement pour la façon dont il a été accompli mais par le nombre de victimes qu'il a causé, et combien il a affecté tant de personnes qui vivent à NICE et qui ne pensaient jamais être la cible d'une telle action.

Je présente ce geste comme un hommage aux Niçois et aux Français pour leur dire qu'il y a des gens vivant dans d'autre parties du Monde qui ,non seulement, pensent à eux, mais aussi veulent leur adresser un message de soutien en ce temps de deuil.
