    I would like to let you know about an exciting exhibition coming to Agora Gallery, NYC, featuring the original work of four innovative and talented French artists, Christiane Monchalin, Krzis-Lorent FrédériqueK, Jade Rougerie and Silvana Di Martino. The exhibition is scheduled to run from February 7, 2013 through February 27, 2013.

    February is also Heart Month and to celebrate we’re doing something a little special. Some of the artists in this exhibition have created artwork especially for the occasion. The entire sales proceeds from the sales of these particular pieces of art will be donated to the Children’s Heart Foundation.

    Please join us for the opening reception on Thursday night, February 7, 2013 from 6-8 pm.

    Yacine, son of Maghreb immigrants, lives a free life, getting involved in tricky situations and barely escaping, constantly refusing to wear the yoke of his community values. He lives in a caravan, close to the circular highway of Paris. A series of casual meetings will lead him to Andalusia after a short stop in Toledo.

    Le Corbusier: The Writings of an Architect

    On his French identity card, legendary architect Le Corbusier listed his profession as "Homme de Lettres" (Man of Letters). Celebrated for his architecture, which numbers fewer than sixty buildings, Le Corbusier also wrote more than fifty books, hundreds of articles, and thousands of letters. Le Corbusier, Homme de Lettres is the first in-depth study of Le Corbusier as a writer as well as an architect. Featuring more than two hundred archival images from Le Corbusier's life and work, this groundbreaking book examines his many writing projects from 1907 to 1947, as well as his letters written to two mentors: Charles L'Eplattenier and William Ritter.
