Words like bowoodling, friskadoodling and alabamaraminating are concocted by Hugnet to describe the seductive strategies of his imaginary creatures. Each text is dedicated to a different creature, describing how it woos, teases, gropes and molests its intended love conquest. Each Spumifer is illust

In La Bibliothèque, contemporary French artist Eric Fonteneau creates a trompe l’oeil library. Thousands of graphite and charcoal rubbings of book bindings, souvenirs copied at libraries during Fonteneau’s travels in Europe and America, line the walls of the site- specific installation.

  • Jan 27, 2012 from 4:00am to 11:00am
  • Location: Tinker Auditorium
